About us

Have you a concern about how your partner/ex-partner is treating you? "It's Complicated" is a free service for men who feel they might be in an unhealthy relationship, or who may be experiencing hostility or abuse. This could be from a current/ex partner, difficult break up, separation, divorce or even family member. We will support you on a one to one basis and also provide a group step-down programme to continue supporting you into the future. We will be very flexible in a way that best supports you. Our professional staff are there to make sure you are heard. We also offer support to concerned family members and friends.

What do I need to begin?

We can assure you a very warm welcome when you take that brave step to reach out to us. You do not need to prepare anything beforehand, we will work together and figure this out over time as we get to know each other. Abuse can take many forms and some are not as obvious as you might think. Sponsored by CUAN, this service is provided free of charge.

We offer in-person, online and we can also meet you within the community in safe locations we choose together, however works for you.

We will help you with understanding abuse better and keeping yourself safer.
